Work-related stress and the job satisfaction of workers and teachers are key factors that are closely linked to efficiency and effectiveness in their work. The purpose of this diploma and the research carried out in October 2017 was to detect and record work anxiety and the job satisfaction of teachers working in the structures of the administration of Education in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. A sample of the present study was made up of 80 Primary and Secondary Education teachers working in their respective Education Departments and belonging to the geographic area of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Especially teachers working in the Primary and Secondary Education Departments of the prefectures of Evros, Rodopi, Xanthi, Kavala and Drama. To fulfil the purpose, they were asked to fill in and respond to a number of questions related to work-related stress and professional satisfaction. In order to analyze the collected information, the researcher used quantitative research and descriptive statistics were used to summarize and summarize the trends and relationships that governed the two central concepts - variables of the problem. The findings of the present study have shown that these teachers do not experience any particular anxiety and pressure in their workplace (below average) and that they are quite satisfied with their work above the average. However, there are individual components (personal situation, health status, personal well-being, workplace, working conditions, personality type) of these teachers, which are related to and multiply the work stress and satisfaction they receive in their workplace: family status, educational level, relevance of work with studies, working conditions (workload, good communication with supervisors, capacity utilization, etc.). Interestingly, as reported by teachers, it was the fact that in the case of moderate work-related stress and above average work satisfaction, work-related anxiety has a great effect on the occurrence of mainly psychic disorders and less physical, such as a state of great nervousness / tension.
