EyeSim®: A Security Wireless Sensor Network Simulation System for Mobile Devices (Master thesis)
Tsitsiroudi, Niki
The security of a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a critical issue due to its nature. A simulation system for a WSN is a good practice to check whether a network has vulnerabilities, and how its behavior will change after the implementation of an attack. Nowadays, the technology development increases rapidly as well as the users’ requirements for systems, which present system’s security vulnerabilities. As a result, it is a necessity the development of a mobile system that allows users to
have an application, which let them execute tasks for special actions, such as the simulation of system’s behavior and the detection of an attack in real time. Moreover, the application is able to inform the user for the exported results. This innovative mobile application is an attempt for a system, which analyses the changes of system’s behavior. The changes are presented through graphics in order for the users to recognize instantly what is modified in the network’s normal workflow.
