The human organism is an impressive multivariate machine, which is indefinitely accomplished by the time when we are born a series of continuous chemical and mechanical functions in which the cells of our organism are defined and evolving with the passing of time. Like any living organism, the human being consists of some systems that each separately and frequently all together can handle all the necessary functions that our organization needs to function properly. These systems are respiratory, cardiovascular, urinary, urinary, muscular, digestive, birth, endocrine, nervous, sensory organ systems and lymphatic system. All of the above systems are extremely important and necessary but one of them takes care of the detoxification and defense of our organism, and this is the lymphatic system. Approximately 2-3 liters of lymphatic fluid are circulating in the lymph nodes that cover our entire body from the top to the nails. This quantity is continually produced by the intercellular fluid surrounding each cell of our organism. This fluid is called a lymph and enters the lymph node and transports unnecessary substances and waste that are thus removed from the cells. The problem with the functioning of this system arises when the lymph nodes or lymph nodes are destroyed or are subplastic or lacking and thus the lymph can not circulate freely in the lymphatic system. This results in the lymph accumulates in the soft tissues of the body, causing a variety of swellings mainly on the upper and lower extremities. In this dissertation, emphasis will be placed on the lesions of the lymph nodes, since first a detailed description is made of the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system. Finally, the ways in which the aesthetic science can eliminate or even improve a blocked lymphatic system will be presented.
