Μελέτη τυρβώδους ροής σε ανοικτό αγωγό με αλατισμένο νερό (Bachelor thesis)

The main object of the dissertation of the degree study is the research of the turbulent flow in an open channel which is flowed by salty water. Ten experiments took place in the laboratory of Plumping Constrictions and Technical Environment of Civil Engineering Technological Education of A.T.E.I of Thessaloniki. The diagrams were designed for density - discharge, density - velocity and velocity - discharge and at the end the diagrams were commented and compared on the results that were mentioned in the bibliographic reference.
In the first chapter, the reader is introduces to the main subject of the degree study. First of all, some general terms are given all of which are going to be read in the following chapters such as the term of turbulent flow and Reynolds’s number.
In the second chapter of the bibliographic reference, researches on a similar subject of the degree study are indicated. In particular, the following studies are presented: a) J. O. The third chapter is about the experimental procedure and measurements. A general description of the experiments set up is given as well as the methodology which was followed. Finally, calculations tables and diagrams of density - discharge, density - velocity and velocity - discharge are given. In the fourth chapter the conclusions of the analysis which came up are summarized. A general conclusion which is resulted by the studies of bibliography reference and by the experiments of the current degree study. In the fifth chapter, the appendix of the photographic material of the experiments is given. The photos of this chapter were obtained during the measurements and experiments. In the sixth chapter the bibliography of the degree study is given.
