The recent humanitarian crisis due to the war in Syria, alongside the economic recession that our country is experiencing, has proven that struck key sectors of the economy. Also, it has become very apparent that one of these areas is the tourism sector. For many years, tourism is the "heavy industry" of the Greek economy adding in GDP a very significant percentage. The hospitality of the Greek population could not stand likely that thousands of refugees to be able to date to integrate with the Greek society. The trigger for the writing of this study was the flow of refugees arriving daily in our country and their impact on everyday life and the economy. The first chapter of this work contains a review of the Arab Spring and the reasons that increased migration from these countries. Reference is also made in the migratory movement of Greece to other countries. The second section consists of the concept of tourism and how it was affected by the refugee movement. Finally, the third chapter contains suggestions and solutions for the smooth integration of refugees and smooth coexistence with the locals.
