Νέες τεχνολογίες και εκπαίδευση: Στάσεις και αντιλήψεις εκπαιδευτικών πρωτοβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Μελέτη περίπτωσης στο Ν. Βοιωτίας (Master thesis)

The new technologies are a constantly growing sector in the field of elementary
schools. The new technologies can be used by teachers in the design and
implementation of the learning environment, in communication, in the search for
information and in the evaluation of learning outcomes. The aim of the work is to
explore attitudes and perceptions of teachers about the use of new technologies, and is
a case study in the prefecture of Viotia. An original questionnaire based on previous
surveys was constructed for the research needs. Teachers use their personal computer
in order to prepare the education material. New technologies are mainly used as a
supervisory tool in classrooms, and this use depends to a significant degree on the
level of study. The time pressure to cover matter is one of the main inhibitors for the
re-use of new technologies. Continuous training can help teachers improve their skills
and introduce new ways of teaching.

| Abstract: | Οι νέες τεχνολογίες είναι ένας συνεχώς αναπτυσσόμενος τομέας στο χώρο των
Δημοτικών σχολείων. Οι νέες τεχνολογίες μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν από τους
εκπαιδευτικούς στη σχεδίαση και υλοποίηση του μαθησιακού περιβάλλοντος, στην
επικοινωνία, στην αναζήτηση πληροφοριών και την αξιολόγηση των μαθησιακών
αποτελεσμάτων. Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι να διερευνηθούν οι στάσεις και οι
αντιλήψεις των εκπαιδευτικών για τη χρήση των νέων τεχνολογιών, και αποτελεί μια
μελέτη περίπτωσης στο νομό Βοιωτίας. Για τις ανάγκες της έρευνας κατασκευάστηκε
πρωτότυπο ερωτηματολόγιο που βασίστηκε σε προηγούμενες έρευνες. Οι
εκπαιδευτικοί χρησιμοποιούν τον προσωπικό τους υπολογιστή με σκοπό να
προετοιμάσουν το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό. Οι νέες τεχνολογίες χρησιμοποιούνται κυρίως
ως εποπτικό μέσο στις αίθουσες διδασκαλίας, και η χρήση αυτή εξαρτάται σε
σημαντικό βαθμό από το επίπεδο σπουδών. Η πίεση χρόνου να καλυφθεί η ύλη είναι
ένας από τους βασικούς ανασταλτικούς παράγοντες για την περαιτέρω χρήση των
νέων τεχνολογιών. Η συνεχής επιμόρφωση μπορεί να βοηθήσει τους εκπαιδευτικούς
να βελτιώσουν τις δεξιότητες που έχουν και να εισάγουν καινούριους τρόπους
