Ο έλεγχος και η ποιότητα στην μεταδευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση: Η περίπτωση του Νομού Κοζάνης (Bachelor thesis)

The ongoing evolution that is happening worldwide has led to the need of a change in school environment and its management. The educational organizations should evolve in “smart schools”, targeting the harmonization with the new standards. The total quality management in education is one way towards this change. The economic crises has as a consequence the lack of funds given for education in Greece and especially in the field of vocational training, which has as a result the creation of many problems.
The goal of this research is to look into the views of adult educators concerning the quality of education in Public Institutions of Vocational Training in the municipality of Kozani. The method used is quantitative research. The sample involved 149 adult educators, who are working in Public Institutions of Vocational Training in the municipality of Kozani. The results showed that there is a positive outcome concerning the organization of the educational procedure in schools of this municipality although the results are not the same on the more practical issues of the school itself. Furthermore, the quality measurement is not very popular and the educators seem to be torn between the contribution of various factors of control and the assurance of quality and also in the contribution of control and if it can lead to a proper function of the school system. However, the conduction of the research with a bigger sample is the only way to have proper deductions, which could be generalized.

| Abstract: | Οι εξελίξεις που πραγματοποιούνται σήμερα στον παγκόσμιο χάρτη έχουν δημιουργήσει την ανάγκη αλλαγής του σχολικού περιβάλλοντος και της διοίκησης του. Οι εκπαιδευτικοί οργανισμοί θα πρέπει να μετεξελιχθούν σε «έξυπνα σχολεία», στοχεύοντας στην εναρμόνιση με τις νέες συνθήκες που επικρατούν. Η Διοίκηση Ολικής Ποιότητας αποτελεί έναν από τους δρόμους για την αλλαγή αυτή. Η οικονομική κρίση έχει συμβάλλει στην μείωση των κονδυλίων που δίδονται για την εκπαίδευση στο ελληνικό κράτος και ιδιαίτερα στον τομέα της επαγγελματικής κατάρτισης με αποτέλεσμα τη δημιουργία πολλών προβλημάτων. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να διερευνηθούν οι απόψεις των εκπαιδευτών ενηλίκων σχετικά με την εφαρμογή της ποιότητας στην εκπαιδευτική πραγματικότητα στα Δημόσια Ιδρύματα Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης του νομού Κοζάνης. Η μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν η ποσοτική έρευνα. Το δείγμα της αποτέλεσαν 149 εκπαιδευτές ενηλίκων,που εργάζονται στα Δημόσια Ινστιτούτα Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης του νομού.Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι υπάρχει θετική εικόνα ως προς την οργάνωση της εκπαιδευτικής διαδικασίας στα σχολεία του νομού Κοζάνης αλλά δεν επικρατεί η ίδια άποψη για τα πρακτικά θέματα που αφορούν το ίδιο το σχολείο. Επίσης, η μέτρηση της ποιότητας δεν είναι τόσο διαδεδομένη και οι εκπαιδευτικοί φαίνεται να διχάζονται τόσο στην συμβολή διάφορων παραγόντων στον έλεγχο και τη διασφάλιση της ποιότητας όσο και στην συμβολή του ελέγχου στην ομαλή λειτουργία της σχολικής μονάδας.
