Νέες τεχνολογίες στη διοίκηση εκπαιδευτικών μονάδων. Μελέτη περίπτωσης : Πήγασος - Πληροφοριακό σύστημα διαχείρισης κατάρτισης στα ΙΕΚ (Master thesis)

The intense growth of technology during the last years, combined with the enormous increase
in the amount of information in need to be processed by organizations and private enterprises,
have lead in the introduction of information systems. In public education sector new
information system have been adopted during the last few years and their main goal is to
make administration procedures easier while diminishing response times along with
diminishing overall costs. In the public sector where strict administrative procedures and
protocols are used the new information systems are gradually fully adopted. In Public
Institutes of Vocational Education, the introduction of system PEGASUS plays a key role in
the solution of administrative issues, and minimizing the difficulties of procedures as it is
clearly stated by the responses of those involved and it is fully accepted in general, however
there are a few demands of improvement regarding flexibility and interoperability issues.
For the purposes of the evaluation of this system, a user satisfaction questionnaire has been
created, which was distributed to all users of the information system PEGASUS of the IVT
(Institutes of Vocational Education) of Central Macedonia. The results were reviewed and
evaluated using the statistical data processing program MINITAB15.
