The experience of All Day Special Primary School in Greece, a qualitative survey (Master thesis)

The following qualitative survey refers to the introduction of All-Day Special Schools in the daily roles of teachers as well as parents and students. It intends to highlight and analyze the experience of special education educators who serve or have served in special educational units. The participants were eight special pedagogues with a common characteristic of the same specialty and experience. They were asked to answer semi-structured interview questions, which explored their experience and their lives from their everyday life. the thematic analysis method was used to analyze the survey data. There were five thematic categories. Participants experienced a lot of difficulties in their day-to-day schooling and tried to respond as well as possible to their duty. The survey highlighted the need for early intervention, proper staffing and proper institutionalization of the industry. It highlights learning and more socially
