Μελέτη κήπου και σχεδιαστικές προτάσεις του κτιρίου της Βίλα Μπιάνκα (Bachelor thesis)

In this paper, I will attempt to practically apply the basic theoretic principles of garden
architecture on the redesigning of Villa Bianca’s garden. First, I will make a short
review of the basic styles of garden architecture and the main garden design tendencies
all over the world. Next, I will present the five basic principles of garden architecture
and the main selection criteria of elements / plants used during the design and
construction of a garden. Consequently, I will shortly present the history of Villa Bianca
and then, I will present in detail all the plants that exist in Villa Bianca at the moment.
Finally, I will make some proposals designed to improve aesthetically the garden of
this historical building.

| Abstract: | Στην παρούσα εργασία γίνεται μια απόπειρα εφαρμογής των βασικών θεωρητικών
αρχών της αρχιτεκτονικής κήπων στην αναδιαμόρφωση του κήπου της Βίλα
Μπιάνκα. Αρχικά γίνεται μια αναφορά στα βασικά στυλ αρχιτεκτονικής κήπου και
στις σχεδιαστικές τάσεις ανά την υφήλιο. Στην συνέχεια παρουσιάζονται οι πέντε
βασικές αρχές της αρχιτεκτονικής τοπίου και τα κριτήρια επιλογής των στοιχείων
υλικών/φυτών κατά την διαδικασία σχεδιασμού και διαμόρφωσης ενός κήπου.
Ακολουθεί μια σύντομη αναφορά στα ιστορικά στοιχεία της Βίλα Μπιάνκα και
εκτενής παρουσίαση των φυτών που υπάρχουν στον κήπο του προς ανάλυση κτιρίου.
Τέλος, παρατίθενται προτάσεις βελτίωσης του κήπου αυτού.
