In this paper, I will attempt to practically apply the basic theoretic principles of garden architecture on the redesigning of Villa Bianca’s garden. First, I will make a short review of the basic styles of garden architecture and the main garden design tendencies all over the world. Next, I will present the five basic principles of garden architecture and the main selection criteria of elements / plants used during the design and construction of a garden. Consequently, I will shortly present the history of Villa Bianca and then, I will present in detail all the plants that exist in Villa Bianca at the moment. Finally, I will make some proposals designed to improve aesthetically the garden of this historical building.
