This study investigates parents’ perceptions about the objectives of pre-school education and how satisfied they are of their children’s attending centres of preschool education within the Greek educational framework. If pre-school education centres are treated as businesses and parents as clients, commercial science reveals the positive relationship between knowledge resulting from the study of the above data aiming at improving the quality of the services provided. The aim of the study is to make use of the data that will occur, in order to show ways to improve the quality of the pre-school education provided. A quantitative survey was conducted and 201 questionnaires were collected from parents whose children attend centres of pre-school education. The data were then analysed by using the SPSS statistical program. The main outcome of this analysis was that, according to parents’ view, pre-school education centres’ main objectives are their children’s socialization and the development of their intellectual and creative abilities, while attributing great importance to the professional profile and skills of the teachers and all the related parameters to them. All in all, parents were satisfied in regards to their relation to the services provided by pre-school education centres.
