The issue of online education has, in recent years, been a matter of concern to the scientific community in a variety of ways as it relates to and influences educational institutions at a global level. The digital form of education is closely intertwined with the characteristic of distance and non-commitment. Thus, distance learning refers to the various educational activities through which the student, while at a geographical distance from the source of knowledge, has the ability, through new technologies and systems, to have access to educational material and thus to be able to to expand his knowledge.
This document to focus on the topic of online learning and is particularly targeted at mass-open online courses (MOOCS). This is achieved through secondary sources, ie through scientific articles and books that thoroughly analyze the online education as well as through the primary research that took place through the interview method which was conducted in three (3) persons who have attended during the of their lives, massively open online courses (MOOCS).
