Tourist services are operated by traditional companies such as hotels, taxis or provided by travel agents. In recent years, more and more people have been offering their property to tourists (for example their home or vehicle) or their activities (e.g. meals or excursions) for temporary use. This type is referred to as sharing "exchange economy" or "economy allocation". It is not limited to tourism but can also be found in many areas of social and economic life, even if tourism is one of the most dynamic areas most affected. Interchange of goods and services between people is not new. Through the development of the Internet and the subsequent creation of platforms, sharing has become easier than ever before. Over the last decade, many companies that run such platforms have appeared in the market. A well-known example is the Airbnb platform, where people can rent some accommodation. The allocation economy has a positive and negative impact on tourism. Referring first to the Online Sharing Economy Platforms, which connect users and provide them with the role of intermediaries for a fee, such as Airbnb. The economic crisis and the increase in demand for tourist accommodation in Greece led, among other things, to the blooming of the Airbnb phenomenon. Whatever, as it was discovered, is now also competing with large hotel chains. In addition, the impact of Airbnb's bloom on global societies has positive and negative impacts. As it offers an excellent opportunity to exploit real estate, increase tourism in non-preferred neighborhoods, alternative travel experiences,etc. However, it also reduces or does not provide housing for housing for residents, students and others. Also, citizens are expelled from the homes, leading to particularly disadvantaged families being economically disadvantaged and turning entire districts into tourist accommodation in the most preferred areas. Tourism Economic development in the wider areas also hides unpredictable dangers for society, visitors, the wider environment, and special attention must therefore be paid by the actors involved.
