In today's world, in a growing world of Athletic tourism, it is a phenomenon that takes on the character of entertainment. At the same time it is subject to intense economic extensions as it is an average potential for the strengthening of the tourist product and the final revenues attributable to a local economy. Taking into account the given economic effects of tourism in one place, but also high demand, it is perceived how tourism combined with sport can greatly influence the dynamics of a destination. Therefore, tourism combined with sport are two poles that greatly contribute to economic growth, attracting new investment in the field of tourism and, more generally, to creating new jobs by combating unemployment and finding new local income.  Athletic tourism is a growing field with a strong feature of popularity that manages to attract and involve more and more government agencies or individuals in this field. Both sport and tourism gather within their social characteristics and develop acceptance of the diversity of cultures and, by extension, respect for them, but also the empowerment and development of solidarity relations among the peoples. What is also being studied is the shift of the interest of tourists as well as of the economic investments in forms of tourism, which in short are called alternatives to the opposite of the phenomenon of mass tourism. Alternative forms of tourism include sport tourism.
