Health tourism is a special category of tourism which develops constantly and continuously is Greece since it has a base tourist number each year. The continuous development of the tourist that make use of this tourist service inside the country and abroad has led to the creation of of new hospitality centers to accommodate the visitors as well as new infrastructures of neighboring places to help their access to these installations. The benefits of this tourism category, ecen if it refers to a specific target group it has start attracting new kind of tourists which visit these places to enjoy both benefits of Zen, detox their bodies from toc=xines as well as for cosmetic reasons. In order to examine tourist’s typology we have conducted appropriate research in the mud baths of Krinides, Kavala (Krinides mud baths). Results have shown a true target group which visit these baths more than once (returning customers), mostly for therapeutically purposes but there were many cases were tourists visited the place for holidays, but in both situations everyone answered positively on the healing properties of the clay, the high quality of provided services as well as the low cost of these services. These results showεd the correct management of hot springds in a professional and properly priced way.
