The Erasmus + program is a great opportunity for quality upgrades at many levels for primary school teachers and students, according to international research conducted. Throughout the program participants can develop collaboration, multiculturalism, broaden their knowledge, come into contact with different cultures and generally bring many benefits. The purpose of this thesis is to explore the views and perceptions of Greek primary and secondary education teachers of the Erasmus + program, both participants and non-participants, to document the benefits that participants will gain from participating in and what they have upgrading the quality of education, identifying the barriers that prevent them from participating in it. To investigate the above, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research was conducted on a sample of 89 Primary School teachers working in primary schools, regardless of their employment relationship (permanent, alternate). The results of the research are in line with the results of the research in the literature, while the conclusions regarding the teachers' participation in the Erasmus + program are of great interest and lead to suggestions to move the research to this subject a step further.
