The subject of this particular task has to do with the tactics and methods that can be applied in practice to deal with the economic crisis in the hotel industry. This theme has been chosen to inform readers (citizens, hoteliers and other entrepreneurs looking for recovery methods) the ways in which a hotel unit can be successful in the midst of a crisis and maintain a steady income and presence in the world of tourism. This essay is divided into three parts. In the first part of the study, which is the general part of the essay, the purpose of the work, the research methodology of the particular and more generally the research principles used, as well as its structure, are mentioned. The second part speaks of tourism as a global phenomenon, the economic crisis of 2008 and its influence on tourism. Finally, in the third part we will present ways and methods of recovery in hotels in the midst of economic crisis as well as improvement of the tourist services they offer, ways of attracting new customers, maintaining a stable clientele, marketing ideas and management advice, and finally technological innovations and development of better and modern philosophies that help the image of our business.
