From my childhood I always were fascinated with tourism and hospitality management because I grew up in an island where the main income of its people comes from tourism. Apart from that I am living in a house that is located in the area of a hotel which is our family business. With this assignment I got the chance to get involved with my island and analyze an issue of many Greek islands which is a main problem and it's called transportation. I will begin explaining the meaning and the varieties of tourism after that I will analyze tourism in island of Thasos and at the end I will conclude in the importance of the meanings of transport for tourism in Thasos.
