PURPOSE The purpose of this research is to examine the views of secondary education teachers in the phenomenon of sexual harassment among students. A key question of research is whether the compulsory introduction of the course of sexual education will reduce this phenomenon. METHOD For the conduct of the research, the qualitative method was chosen using the semi-structured interview as a research tool. Research participants were teachers working in secondary education in the prefecture of Thessaloniki. RESULTS Most teachers argue that the phenomenon is real, and that the introduction of sexual education will help reduce the phenomenon, prevent it and teachers can manage incidents properly. CONCLUSIONS Immediate introduction of the course of sexual education either alone or embedded in other courses such as Biology, Sociology, Social education and Political education even in the lesson of Religion. Further education and training of all involved teachers, pupils and even parents.
