Διαχείριση συγκρούσεων. Από τον αυταρχικό στον χαρισματικό ηγέτη. Απόψεις εκπαιδευτικών Ανατολικής Αττικής (Bachelor thesis)
Γεωργιάδης, Ηλίας
School units are 'living organizations', and their functioning is almost reminiscent of
the way society operates. Many human groups with conflicting roles are active within
them. Conflicts in the educational unit are a very common and unavoidable
phenomenon. The burden and responsibility of resolving these lies with its leader. The
way he will pursue it depends on the leadership style that the school leader himself
has chosen to adopt. The temperament of the conflicting parties, the frequency with
which conflicts arise and the causes that cause them are the factors that determine
how the leader chooses to resolve it. In addition, it is called upon to exploit the
conflict in such a way that, after its completion, it can prove beneficial to the school
unit. This paper analyzes the issue of conflicts in the school unit and the role of the
school leader in resolving them. The concepts of conflict and school leadership are
presented through the literature and examined through a structured research effort.
