Αντιλήψεις εκπαιδευτικών ειδικής αγωγής δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης για τον ρόλο της επιμόρφωσης στην εκπαιδευτική πράξη (Bachelor thesis)

The present thesis aims to explore the perceptions of Secondary Education special education teachers regarding the role of teacher training in educational practice. It is a fact that, nowadays, teacher training is predominant and many educational training programs are organized by different institutions in order to better equip teachers and improve their educational work. Such training programs exist for special education as well. It is, therefore, useful to record the perceptions of teachers working in the field of special education on issues related to their training.
The present study is quantitative and is conducted through a questionnaire aimed at recording teachers' attitudes on the specific subject. The research sample consisted of 100 secondary education special education teachers and the analysis of the research data was done using SPSS 21.0 statistical package. The analysis is based on the verification of research hypotheses and, more specifically, on their confirmation or rejection.
The results showed that teachers' perceptions of special education training are influenced by the gender of teachers, their age, years of service in Special Education and Training Units, and attendance of a Special Education and Training seminar lasting at least 400 hours.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία έχει στόχο τη διερεύνηση των αντιλήψεων των εκπαιδευτικών ειδικής αγωγής Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης για το ρόλο της επιμόρφωσης στην εκπαιδευτική πράξη. Είναι γεγονός ότι στις μέρες μας κυριαρχεί η επιμόρφωση και οργανώνονται πολλά επιμορφωτικά προγράμματα από διάφορους φορείς με σκοπό την πληρέστερη κατάρτιση των εκπαιδευτικών και τη βελτίωση του εκπαιδευτικού τους έργου. Τέτοιου είδους επιμορφωτικά προγράμματα υπάρχουν για την ειδική αγωγή. Επομένως είναι χρήσιμο να καταγραφούν οι αντιλήψεις των εκπαιδευτικών που εργάζονται στο χώρο της ειδικής αγωγής για θέματα που αφορούν στην επιμόρφωσή τους.
Η παρούσα έρευνα είναι ποσοτική και διεξάγεται μέσω ενός ερωτηματολογίου που στόχο έχει την καταγραφή των στάσεων των εκπαιδευτικών για το συγκεκριμένο θέμα που μελετάται. Το δείγμα της έρευνας αποτελείται από 100 εκπαιδευτικούς ειδικής αγωγής Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης και η ανάλυση των ερευνητικών δεδομένων έγινε με τη χρήση του στατιστικού πακέτου SPSS 21.0. Η ανάλυση βασίζεται στον έλεγχο ερευνητικών υποθέσεων και πιο συγκεκριμένα στην επιβεβαίωση ή στην απόρριψή τους.
Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι οι αντιλήψεις των εκπαιδευτικών για την επιμόρφωση στην ειδική αγωγή επηρεάζονται από το φύλο των εκπαιδευτικών, την ηλικία τους, τα έτη υπηρεσίας τους σε Σχολικές Μονάδες Ειδικής Αγωγής και Εκπαίδευσης και την παρακολούθηση σεμιναρίου επιμόρφωσης στην Ειδική Αγωγή και Εκπαίδευση τουλάχιστον 400 ωρών.
