Nowadays, e-government characterizes the modern organization and
administration of the public sector, which is improved through the integration of new
information and communication technologies (ICT), the internet the World Wide Web,
with the aim of providing upgraded and better-quality services. to the citizens. In this
context, the management of educational units could not be left unaffected by the
electronic tools of e-government. The widespread use of ICT, and in particular
mySchool, which is a multifaceted information system, has upgraded the day-to-day
reality of school administration by transforming the traditional Greek school into a
digital one. With the reduction of bureaucratic and manual procedures, the passage to
digital facilities of organization and operation, the foundations are laid for a more
qualitative and effective digital education environment in Greece.
The purpose of this research work is to investigate the influence of e-government
in school administration and to demonstrate the degree of effectiveness of mySchool in
the organizational and administrative functioning of schools. In addition, it aims to
examine whether and to what extent e-government tools are perceived by the
educational community as a factor in reducing the administrative burden in the field of
education in our country.

| Abstract: | Στις μέρες μας η ηλεκτρονική διακυβέρνηση χαρακτηρίζει τη σύγχρονη
οργάνωση και διοίκηση του δημόσιου τομέα, η οποία βελτιώνεται μέσα από την
ένταξη των νέων τεχνολογιών πληροφορίας και επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ), του διαδικτύου
και του παγκόσμιου ιστού, έχοντας ως στόχο την παροχή αναβαθμισμένων και
ποιοτικότερων υπηρεσιών προς τους πολίτες. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό η διοίκηση των
εκπαιδευτικών μονάδων δεν θα μπορούσε να μείνει ανεπηρέαστη από τα ηλεκτρονικά
εργαλεία διακυβέρνησης. Η ευρεία χρήση των ΤΠΕ και ειδικότερα το mySchool, που
αποτελεί ένα πολυδύναμο πληροφοριακό σύστημα, αναβάθμισαν την καθημερινή
πραγματικότητα της σχολικής διοίκησης μετασχηματίζοντας το παραδοσιακό
ελληνικό σχολείο σε ψηφιακό. Με τη μείωση των γραφειοκρατικών και χειροκίνητων
διαδικασιών και το πέρασμα σε ψηφιακές ευκολίες οργάνωσης και λειτουργίας,
θέτονται οι βάσεις για ένα ποιοτικότερο και αποτελεσματικότερο ψηφιακό
εκπαιδευτικό περιβάλλον στην Ελλάδα.
Στόχοι της ερευνητικής αυτής εργασίας είναι να διερευνηθεί η επιρροή της
ηλεκτρονικής διακυβέρνησης στη σχολική διοίκηση και να αναδειχθεί ο βαθμός της
αποτελεσματικότητας του mySchool στον οργανωτικό και διοικητικό τρόπο
λειτουργίας των σχολείων. Επιπλέον, στοχεύει να εξετάσει αν και κατά πόσο τα
εργαλεία ηλεκτρονικής διοίκησης θεωρούνται από την εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα ως
ένας παράγοντας μείωσης του διοικητικού βάρους στον τομέα της εκπαίδευσης της
χώρας μας.
