Pregnancy is a period of woman's life that undergoes multiple physical, hormonal, psychological and musculoskeletal changes. The female body transformates and changes dramatically during the 9 months of pregnancy. Changes occured in the musculoskeletal system, the endocrine system, the respiratory system, the biomechanics of the spine, pelvis and lower limbs. As a result, the search for specialized therapists for information, prevention and proper rehabilitation is imperative. The physiotherapist addresses the problems of the pregnant woman through her history taking, evaluation and rehabilitation program and makes her daily life functional. The tools used by the physiotherapist are manipulation therapy, aerobic exercise, TENS, aerobic exercise in the water as well as alternative therapies such as acupuncture, pilates / yoga / reiki and massage in combination with shortened muscle extension. The purpose of this work is to inform and analyze the ways of coping with pregnancy changes that are documented in the theoretical and therapeutic part that will follow.
