The purpose of this thesis is to study the medical interventions in the treatment of the aging process . Furthermore, it is focused on the invasive and non invasive medic al methods of dealing with the aging effects (e.g. wrinkles), that are supposed to cause the rejuvenation and the renewal of the epiderm, whose earlier youthfullness and flexib ility are eliminated or disappeared during the years. In the field of aesthetics and cosmetics and plastic surgery, there are plenty of aesthetic and medical anti aging treatment methods, depending on the aging group of patients and the extensiveness and the seriousness of the aging effects. The purpose of this thesis, therefore, is to report and analyze the available medical interventions (invasive and non invasive), so that their mechanism and their effectiveness towards the aging phenomenon are understo od.
