The specific survey has as a goal to investigate the perceptions of healthcare professionals in the Secondary Hospital of St. Dimitrios of Thessaloniki with regards to the positive safety culture, their knowledge over the factors that it is influenced by, as well as the way they deal with adverse events, in order to assess the safety culture of patients and define the factors which affect it. : The survey was conducted in St. Dimitrios Hospital in Thessaloniki, from 13/12/2019 to 15/12/2019, during which, the questionnaire The Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSPSC) was used as a tool. The population and the sample of the survey included doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff (paramedical, technical and general scientific staff) of the hospital. 170 questionnaires were completed while participants being voluntary and anonymous. The results were reached by using the staff's responses and analyzing them with the statistics tool of frequencies analysis. Moreover, to reach averages, the method of descriptives was implemented on the sample.

| Abstract: | Σκοπός της συγκεκριμένης εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση για το πώς αντιλαμβάνονται οι επαγγελματίες υγείας στο δευτεροβάθμιο νοσοκομείο o Άγιος Δημήτριος Θεσσαλονίκης τη θετική κουλτούρα ασφάλειας, τις γνώσεις τους πάνω στους παράγοντες που την επηρεάζουν καθώς και τον τρόπο διαχείρισης των ανεπιθύμητων συμβάντων, προκειμένου να αξιολογηθεί το κλίμα ασφάλειας των ασθενών και να προσδιοριστούν οι παράγοντες που το επηρεάζουν. Η διεξαγωγή της έρευνας πραγματοποιήθηκε στο νοσοκομείο Άγιος Δημήτριος Θεσσαλονίκης μεταξύ της 13/12/2019 και 15/12 2019, στην οποία χρησιμοποιήθηκε ως εργαλείο το ερωτηματολόγιο The Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSPSC). Ο πληθυσμός και το δείγμα της έρευνας ήταν γιατροί, νοσηλευτές και το λοιπό προσωπικό (παραϊατρικό, διοικητικό, τεχνικό, λοιπό επιστημονικό) του νοσοκομείου. Συμπληρώθηκαν 170 ερωτηματολόγια και συμμετοχή των εργαζομένων σε αυτή ήταν εθελοντική και ανώνυμη. Για την παρουσίαση των αποτελεσμάτων που σχετίζονται με τις απαντήσεις των εργαζομένων στα ερωτηματολόγια, οι οποίοι συμμετείχαν στην έρευνα, πραγματοποιήθηκε ανάλυση συχνοτήτων (frequencies). Επιπρόσθετα, για την εξέταση των μέσων όρων εκτελέστηκε η εντολή descriptives.
