The specific survey has as a goal to investigate the perceptions of healthcare professionals in the Secondary Hospital of St. Dimitrios of Thessaloniki with regards to the positive safety culture, their knowledge over the factors that it is influenced by, as well as the way they deal with adverse events, in order to assess the safety culture of patients and define the factors which affect it. : The survey was conducted in St. Dimitrios Hospital in Thessaloniki, from 13/12/2019 to 15/12/2019, during which, the questionnaire The Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSPSC) was used as a tool. The population and the sample of the survey included doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff (paramedical, technical and general scientific staff) of the hospital. 170 questionnaires were completed while participants being voluntary and anonymous. The results were reached by using the staff's responses and analyzing them with the statistics tool of frequencies analysis. Moreover, to reach averages, the method of descriptives was implemented on the sample.
