Nowadays, more and more new models of Smart Home projects are emerging. Taking advantage of the technological advances of recent years, which along with new types of devices have brought
new technologies such as the Internet of Things, they want to incorporate what new opportunities are being offered to their smart home automation, thereby improving their quality of life. That is why
today many companies are providing smart home automation solutions with the use of new smart devices. These smart devices can communicate with each other to provide the homeowner with a new
stay experience, providing him with new services and exempting him from daily routine work. To achieve this, these smart homes use various models and protocols to manage the devices. The use of these models and protocols along with their positive functions bring many new issues. These issues are mainly related to the security and power consumption issues of these new smart devices managing
a Smart Home. In this work a model is created to help solve these key issues. Through research and audits, the right model for smart device management will be created. Initially, concepts such as Smart Home,
Internet of Things technology and Blockchain will be introduced and analyzed that are necessary to understand the model. The structure of the model, which will consist of three central areas for managing smart devices in groups, saving energy and guarantee security for both the owner and his smart home, will be analyzed. In order to achieve the correct construction of this model, the appropriate mechanisms and techniques will be created that will be incorporated into this model.
Appropriate simulations and measurements will be performed to test the model to derive the results necessary to derive model conclusions. With this methodology this work will attempt and succeed in
constructing a smart home management model of a Smart Home that will resolve security issues by protecting against potential risks and errors of the devices to provide fault tolerance to the model. At
the same time it will safeguard the sensitive information of the resident from possible interceptions of third parties and will achieve all this with the least possible energy consumption that can occur.
