Greek tourism is one of the mainstays of the country's domestic economy, growth and prosperity. This is a particularly important area, as it brings enormous benefits to society, such as providing jobs, developing tourist areas, inflowing money, promoting Greek cuisine, culture, customs and customs, etc. Through monitoring of the situation in Greece in terms of economy and tourism in recent years, it was considered important to conduct a survey on the contribution of tourism to domestic development. However, due to the fact that tourism has many dimensions, as today can be carried out with various forms of alternative tourism, the center of gravity of the study has fallen towards climbing tourism and the benefits it gives to local tourism development in the country. The purpose of the study is to assess the degree of contribution of the climb to the local tourism development of the country. In more detail, it is noted that the study aims at exploring the benefits of climbing tourism in the development of all tourism. Through the analysis of the data gathered, the purpose of the study is to assess whether this particular form of tourism has flourished in Greece and how much the local economy of the regions where it has been improved. The method used to prepare this study concerns two strands of research. The first part relates to the bibliographic review and is classified as secondary research. The second part concerns personal research into a sample and is called as a primary quantitative method.
