In every organization, a lot of resources are invested in training employees almost every year, therefore, it is crucial that those investments to be placed successfully in order to fulfill their purpose. Today, organizations receive a great amount of information which are also influenced by the constant technological changes. Globalization has as a result new and upcoming challenges for companies and organizations. These challenges make competitive advantage even more difficult to be gained. Subsequently, HRM is based on an organization’s specific approach to human resources by proposing distinct approaches to the term as the strategic perspective of employee management, the way teams are involved in the operation of the organization, as a set of policies, with the human body and the formation of a working relationship in a climate of trust. Rotation of working places involves moving employees from one unit to another in order to increase their skills in various aspects of their job. Rotation is designed on the basis of working practices and promotes the acquisition of new skills and increased productivity. On the other hand, the high frequency of job rotation can cause dissatisfaction and some relevant factors must be taken into account when applying it. It is important to understand the relationship between nursing job rotation and job satisfaction, given that satisfaction is linked to better performance, better organizational outcomes, and optimal patient care.
