The purpose of this thesis is to perform a numerical analysis, on an example of a water supply system, to determine the risk posed by the phenomenon of a hydraulic water-hummer. The analysis will be carried out using the attribute method and all steps of the calculations are presented, including the results. This work examines its theoretical framework, and analyzes the basic concepts of Fluid Mechanics, which play a crucial role in the analysis of hydraulic systems and installations. The results obtained from the numerical analysis do not indicate any danger for this system due to the low pressure factor, low friction factor, and constant flow. However, there has been an increase in overpressures at a point of the system that requires further examination and reinforcement.
