AbstractThe market demand for portable and non-invasive biomedical devices is now perceptible, and several such devices were used in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This thesis presents the design, fabrication, calibration, and testing stages of the second prototype of a non-invasive, portable, Mie scattering-bass blood quality sensor. The aforementioned prototype device consists of a 1500×1-pixel photodiode array sensor, a 650 nm laser diode, and a novel case designed in order to easily facilitate various kinds of future optical experiments. In addition, this paper also presents the results of several in-vivo and in-vitro experiments, obtained using the previous prototype of the device
