Συγκριτική μελέτη υγειονομικής ασφάλισης της Ελλάδας με το Ολλανδικό υγειονομικό σύστημα (Bachelor thesis)

This present study aims to record the most important parts which will shed light on the insurance systems of two totally different countries, this of Greece and the Netherlands, and their comparison. To assess the effectiveness of a health system the problems should be first detected, comprehended and at a later stage they should be resolved.
This study is a literature review and consists of four chapters. The first chapter referes to some general data of the health status in Europe. In the second chapter the Greek health system is analysed and in the third chapter the Dutch system is analyzed respectively. In the end, the fourth chapter focuses on the comparison between these two systems.
In conclusion, the two health systems present various differences. An indicative reference is that the Dutch health system is more easily accessible, with better benefits and the opportunity to choose the health provider of your preference. The Greek health system, on the other hand, is not very accessible in comparison with the Dutch system, but it offers a bigger range of providers and a greater coverage of needs. Therefore, it is hard to say which of these two health systems is more efficient because the two countries need a lot of reformations of their health systems in order to increase their effectiveness

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα μελέτη αποτελεί μια προσπάθεια καταγραφής των σημαντικότερων στοιχείων που συντελούν στη διαμόρφωση των ασφαλιστικών συστημάτων δύο εντελώς διαφορετικών χωρών, της Ελλάδας και της Ολλανδίας και τη μεταξύ τους σύγκριση. Για να αξιολογηθεί η αποδοτικότητα ενός συστήματος πρέπει πρώτα να εντοπιστούν τα προβλήματα, να κατανοηθούν και να γίνει προσπάθεια να επιλυθούν.
H εργασία αυτή αποτελεί μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση και απαρτίζεται από τέσσερα κεφάλαια. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο αναφέρονται κάποια γενικά στοιχεία για την κατάσταση της υγείας του πληθυσμού στην Ευρώπη. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο αναλύεται το Ελληνικό Σύστημα Υγειονομικής Ασφάλισης και αντίστοιχα στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο υπάρχει η αντίστοιχη ανάλυση του Ολλανδικού. Τέλος, στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται η σύγκριση και αξιολόγηση των δύο αυτών συστημάτων.
Συμπερασματικά, τα δυο ασφαλιστικά συστήματα παρουσιάζουν μεταξύ τους μεγάλες διαφορές. Ενδεικτικά αναφέρεται ότι το Ολλανδικό σύστημα είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμο με καλύτερες παροχές υγείας και τη δυνατότητα επιλογής παρόχου υπηρεσιών. Το Ελληνικό σύστημα από τη μεριά του μπορεί να είναι δύσκολα προσβάσιμο έχει όμως μεγαλύτερο εύρος παροχών και μεγαλύτερη κάλυψη αναγκών. Είναι δύσκολο επομένως να πούμε ποιο από τα δύο αυτά συστήματα είναι πιο αποδοτικό καθώς και οι δύο χώρες στο επίπεδο της υγειονομικής περίθαλψης χρειάζονται σημαντικές μεταρρυθμίσεις για να αυξήσουν την αποτελεσματικότητα τους.
