Earlier evolutions in the wider world socio-political development, the crisis in Greece, the pandemic of COVID-19 and many other challenges have affected the object of OAED, making it a body in charge as never before called to adapt to the ever-changing external environment. Appropriately, this Organization responded to the need to modernize and evolve into a modern Public Employment Agency by adopting a re-engineering plan which is being implemented gradually without having yet taken its final form. However, due to the increased demands associated with the dramatic increase in unemployment, there were signs of workforce fatigue and shifting trends to other actors. In this work, after first studying the structural elements that constituted the research, the correlations between emotional intelligence, group cohesion and burnout were investigated, with the first two factors positively influencing each other and having a close relationship while Work burnout seems to be weakening precisely thanks to the increased team spirit and the developed interpersonal skills of the staff. The final conclusions and the resulting correlation model were enriched with proposals for the further improvement of interpersonal relationships, the adaptation of a personalized management model as well as the establishment of a competent body in these directions.
