This postgraduate thesis deals with the milk market in Greece and more specifically the comparative financial analysis of three companies in this sector. In this paper it is analyzed the structure of the industry and the basic components which it’s constitute. The postgraduate thesis emphasizes the importance of the nutrients of milk and its benefits to human nutrition, elements that make it a commodity essential to specific populations. Following are the supply and demand figures for milk in the Greek market. Finally, is examined a financial analysis of the largest milk processing companies based in the domestic milk market. Along with the completion of the postgraduate thesis it is expected that the way of operation and position of each company in the industry will be clearly illustrated.
