Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neurological disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS) mumps, thus destroying myelin and axons and causing a significant degree of disability. It is the most common neurological disease affecting young and middle- aged adults in America and Europe. Hydrotherapy is a method of treatment using water, an
important method for rehabilitation of patients with multiple sclerosis.
In the present study, articles of the contemporary international literature on the benefits and effectiveness of Hydrotherapy are sought in patients with multiple sclerosis. In particular, the effectiveness of hydrotherapy in the rehabilitation of patients with multiple
sclerosis is presented in the present paper, through articles in the international literature. The first chapter analyzes the definition, causes and symptoms of multiple sclerosis and the definition of hydrotherapy, as well as its use. In the second chapter are presented all the
hydrotherapy methods and in the third chapter is presented and analyzed 30 articles found in the search by the internet sites, regarding the effect of hydrotherapy on the rehabilitation of the patients with multiple sclerosis. At the end of the paper, conclusions and bibliography are presented.
