Construction poses a major factor in the economies of all countries, including Greece. Road construction, which we studied in this thesis, is of great financial importance in Greece. Therefore, the accurate estimation of the cost of any project is significant and requires great attention in order to prevent deviations. As differentiation of the estimated highway construction costs seems to appear frequently during construction it is considered useful to create a cost estimation model for road construction based on data of completed projects and mathematical methods which help with the statistical analysis. This thesis is the attempt to create such a model after the collection and analysis of technical and cost data from the contractual documents of fourteen (14) completed sections of Egnatia Motorway
