Εφαρμογές της 3D εκτύπωσης στην προσχολική εκπαίδευση: μελέτη περίπτωσης στο νηπιαγωγείο (Master thesis)

This thesis aims at the introduction of 3D printing in the kindergarten area by making use of the techniques it offers. It investigates the characteristics, which according to the opinion of the children, are considered suitable for the objects printed with the help of a 3D printer. It is presented through the literature review, the definition and characteristics of 3D printing, its applications in education with the positive and negative elements that have emerged, as well as the corresponding research. Preschool education, the kindergarten program, the STE(A)M approach are also analyzed. Finally, the connection between the three parameters is made. The methodology follows with the aims and objectives and is examined how the research was designed and developed. The conclusions reached along with the proposals for future research are presented in detail. From the final results, it follows that 3D printing can offer many a lot through its applications in the field of education. In any case, children must be at the center and become the majors “researchers” so that conclusions can be drawn based on their needs and beliefs.
