Libraries and Archival institutions are inextricably linked to the authoritative source of information are for everyone. This bachelor’s thesis, which is carried out in the Department of Library, Archival & Information Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the International Hellenic University, presents the libraries, academic ones, special ones and municipal ones, that function at the same time as archival institutions, while briefly citing the archival material they dispose. Greek Archives Inventory was the source of these libraries. Furthermore, in this thesis it is presented the research carried out to these entities and had as a target to write down and assess the work of these libraries as archival entities.
