Ενεργειακός σχεδιασμός μονοκατοικίας - Μελέτη Περίπτωσης (Bachelor thesis)
Επισκόπου, Μάρια, Ελένη
The goal and the subject approached by this thesis is the optimization of the desired comfort
conditions in the house and of course the energy savings, which will result from the appropriate
interventions that will occur in the residence.
The first chapter has the introduction and the climate zones of Greece as defined. In the second
chapter, the basic elements and concepts of KENAK are developed, so that we get to know the
basic principles of operation of the reference building and the issuance of the energy performance
certificate. The third chapter talks about the requirements of the building's operating areas,
temperature, lighting, etc. In the fourth chapter, reference is made to the characteristics of the
building shell, such as thermal insulation coefficients for the structural elements, transparent and
opaque. In the fifth chapter we have the characteristics of the building that we will upgrade
energetically. In the sixth chapter we present the energy upgrade scenarios and summary results.
In chapter seven, additional bioclimatic parameters are studied and how they affect the building.
Chapter eight refers to the economic and technical data and finally chapter nine presents the
general conclusions.
Through this thesis we will draw several conclusions about the need for energy upgrading, as well
as about the value of bioclimatic planning.
