The aim of this work is to study the optimal distance between twin tunnels. The optimal distance between them due to stability and non-failure of the tunnels. Tunnels are a very important part in the modern construction of projects, because it provides us with space, which we need. By law the tunnels should be twin with communication between them for safety. However, in order to find the optimal cross-section of the tunnels, the distance between them and their shape, the rock mass in which the excavation will take place must be studied (rock mass structure, rock quality, discontinuities in their structure, drilling depth ). We will study this in this work with the help of two programs (Roc Data, Phase2) from which we will take data and dimension the tunnels with the loads they will receive from the rock mass.
