This virus also affects millions of people around the world, causing a large global impact. It is a member of the lentivirus family of animal retroviruses and has an affinity for the body's immune cells, whose main target is CD4 + T lymphocytes. HIV is a global problem affecting all continents. Every day, about 5,000 people become infected with HIV. People with HIV are often isolated, discriminated against and have their human rights violated because most of us have adopted the misconception that HIV carriers are a danger to society. public health. We should not be prejudiced and negative towards them.
Therefore, at this point we conclude the vital role of information and education in the fight against HIV.
