Ανάπτυξη συστήματος διαχείρισης αποθεμάτων στην εταιρεία «Κ.ΚΛΕΙΝΑΚΗΣ Α.Ε.»

Abstract

This research examines and concentrates on the public limited company “K. KLEINAKIS S.A.” a unit of flexible plastic types and packing - located in N. Heraklion, Crete. The introduction will provide a data report and presentation, referring to the field of plastic industry in Greece. There will be a discussion of the strategies and practices that the particular company follows in the field of supply. This research is divided in four chapters. In the first chapter there is a mention of the conceptual definitions of the supply chain. Moreover, the systems and terminology of plastics and their processing are determined. Terms like high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene and polypropylene are determined in order to be comprehensible to the non-specialised readership. The second chapter analyses the methology designed for this research. The chosen main methods are the primary and secondary research. However, secondary methods that were used during the research process, analysis and optimisation of data are also mentioned. The third chapter presents the commentary and analysis of the research’s outcomes. There is a detailed presentation of the company’s profile highlighting the material-technical in fracture and in particular the manufacture-storage areas. Moreover the final product’s manufacturing process is described and the order management and manufacturing process is underlined. The customers and management of distribution are also mentioned. The most significant part in the third chapter is the calculations of cost manufacturing, storage and final product’s and raw material’s conservation. The necessary data for completing this research were the raw material’s ABC analysis and the quantitative examination of selected products (polypropylene role), where the system management of reserves was applied through EOQ (Economic Order Quantity). The fourth chapter presents and describes the application of two other systems management of reserves on the same chosen products. The cost calculations and effectiveness of each system is equally presented like the EOQ system. The K. KLEINAKIS’s company chooses to apply the fixed reorder quantity system, considering it as more efficient, effective and lowbudget from the other system management of reserves like EOQ system and fixed reorder cycle system. Finally, the reasons why the fixed reorder quantity system management of reserves was chosen are presented and explained.

Για την παρούσα μελέτη ερευνήθηκε η εταιρεία «Κ.ΚΛΕΙΝΑΚΗΣ Α.Ε.», η οποία είναι παραγωγική μονάδα ευκάμπτων πλαστικών ειδών και συσκευασιών στο Ν. Ηρακλείου Κρήτης. Το σημαντικότερο ίσως κομμάτι του ήταν ο υπολογισμός του κόστους παραγωγής, αποθήκευσης και διατήρησης των τελικών προϊόντων και των Ά υλών αυτών. Απαραίτητα στοιχειά για την σωστή περάτωση της μελέτης είναι η ABC ανάλυση των Ά υλών και η ποσοτική εξέταση επιλεγμένων προϊόντων (ρολά πολυπροπυλενίου) όπου και εφαρμόστηκε σύστημα διαχείρισης αποθεμάτων μέσω EOQ (Economic Order Quantity). Εν συνεχεία της μελέτης παρουσιάστηκε και περιγράφθηκε η εφαρμογή στα ήδη επιλεγμένα προϊόντα (ρολά ΡΡ) συστημάτων διαχείρισης αποθεμάτων, όπου υπολογίστηκαν εξίσου αναλυτικά με το πρώτο σύστημα (EOQ) τα κόστη και η αποτελεσματικότητα του κάθε συστήματος. Από τα συστήματα διαχείρισης αποθεμάτων μέσω EOQ, σταθερής ποσότητας παραγγελίας και σταθερής περιόδου παραγγελίας επιλέχθηκε να εφαρμοστεί το δεύτερο. Το σύστημα διαχείρισης αποθεμάτων με σταθερή ποσότητα παραγγελίας στην εταιρία «Κ.ΚΛΕΙΝΑΚΗΣ Α.Ε.» θα έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα αποδοτικότερη παραγωγή, αποτελεσματικότερο έλεγχο αποθεμάτων και οικονομικότερο κόστος διατήρησης και αποθήκευσης υλικών. Με τον πλήρη έλεγχο αποθήκης και αποθεμάτων που θα διαθέτει η εταιρία «Κ.ΚΛΕΙΝΑΚΗΣ Α.Ε.» μετά την εφαρμογή του συστήματος θα είναι σε θέση να διαχωρίσει τα υλικά που διαθέτει σε ενεργούς και ανενεργούς κωδικούς. Θα χρησιμοποιήσει στην παραγωγή ρολά τα οποία ίσως και να έμεναν ανεκμετάλλευτα στην αποθήκη. Επίσης, θα επιτυγχάνει σωστές απογραφές στο μέλλον με κωδικούς υλικών που «κινούνται» και δεν θα καταναλώνει κεφάλαιο σε ρολά ΡΡ που έχουν χαμηλή ζήτηση. Η επιχείρηση θα αποκτήσει άρτιες σχέσεις με τους πελάτες της εφόσον θα καλύπτει την ζήτηση των παραγγελιών και με τους προμηθευτές της εφόσον θα έχει σταθερές ποσότητες παραγγελιών.
