Abstract: This thesis includes the presentation of the situation of the retail trade in Greece. Especially, it presents the situation of the retail companies at the Municipality of Serres and the problems that has the trade of the municipality, from the development market area of Bulgary. Also, the thesis includes one research relatively with the habits of the customers of Serres and their opinions about the local market area. The results of this research could be a motivation for other researches and studies relatively with the situation of the retail trade at Serres and it development.
Η εργασία αυτή περιλαμβάνει την παρουσίαση της κατάστασης του λιανικού εμπορίου στην Ελλάδα. Ειδικότερα παρουσιάζει την κατάσταση του λιανικών επιχειρήσεων στον Νομό των Σερρών και των προβλημάτων που αντιμετωπίζει το εμπόριο του νομού από την αναπτυσσόμενη αγορά της γειτονικής Βουλγαρίας. Επίσης η εργασία περιλαμβάνει και μια έρευνα σχετικά με τις τάσεις και τις συνήθειες των Σερραίων καταναλωτών και τις απόψεις τους όσον αφορά την τοπική αγορά. Τα αποτελέσματα της παρούσας έρευνας θα μπορούσαν να αποτελέσουν έναυσμα για τη δημιουργία άλλων ερευνών και μελετών σχετικά με την κατάσταση του λιανικού εμπορίου στο νομό των Σερρών και τις προοπτικές ανάπτυξης του.
