| Abstract: | The purpose of our study was to determine whether chronic Helicobacter pylori infection is associated with ischemic cerebrovascular disease. According to our results there was no significant relation between HP infection and ischemic cerebrovascular disease (p>1.1). Furthermore there was found a significant negative relation between the Cag-A strain of HP infection and ischemic cerebrovascular disease (p<0.05) |
