Abstract: The proposed cooperative system provides the capability of informing users about the traffic situation on roads, at real time, based on information collected from users themselves and then return to them processed. Through an application for mobile devices, the user can be informed about traffic conditions, using data from all users in motion (Floating car data) that also utilize the system. The user interface of the application shows to the user a map, according to each point he/she is on, on which the movement on the streets is reflected, with appropriate color depending on the actual traffic condition. For example, red roads are busy, orange ones have moderate traffic and green roads do not face any problem.
