The following thesis refers to the construction and implementation of a car wash, in which the movement is automatic at the various stages of the washing process due to conveyor belt’s moving. The control of the construction is achieved through a SIEMENS P.L.C. with a C.P.U. 226. The thesis consists of 4 chapters. To start with, the first chapter refers to the chronological review, the presentation and description of the systems which a car wash consists of on real data. The second chapter describes the P.L.C. It refers to the P.L.C.’s parts, the programs used for the programming of a P.L.C. and also the simulation of the program before transferring to P.L.C. for checking its operation. The third chapter presents and analyzes the program transferred to P.L.C. for the construction’s operation. The realization of the program is in three programming languages LADDER, FBD and STL. Additionally, the simulation of the program is made for a better understanding and also the wiring diagram and the flow chart creation. The fourth chapter describes the process made for the construction analytically and also refers to the materials used. To conclude, the conclusions of the thesis are presented as well with any upgrades could be done in the future.
