Συργούδης, Κωνσταντίνος

Information Technology (IT) is a communication system linking students, teachers and the Education Organization. In many foreign universities, research has shown that students with learning difficulties but without learning difficulties can solve exercises in both modern and asynchronous environments. The purpose of this research is the impact of the use of Information Systems on the education of people of general population and people with special learning difficulties. The survey involved 108 people, 54 of whom had learning difficulties (Group A) and 54 without learning difficulties (Group B). Specifically, there were 24 students from the University of Macedonia, 50 students from TEI Thessalonikis, 22 employees in Public Sector and 12 employees in private sector. The findings of this study showed that people with special learning difficulties prior to intervention had significantly lower self-esteem compared to those without special learning difficulties. The degree of self-respect between the two groups differed significantly.
