The following assignment is consisted of seven (7) chapters that describe the stages of creating a webpage. At first, the city of Limassol is shown that has an important location and range in the island of Cyprus. It is also known for its barriers and the amazing Mediterranean climate. When it comes to the process of creating the webpage, the initial thoughts are drawn on paper as well as its structure and the role of each webpage that we would create. At the fourth (4) chapter, the process of installing the program WordPress that was used for the webpage, is shown along with its characteristics and its comparison with other popular CMS programs. Moreover, this project presents the package of free software and open source programs Xampp as well as its installation and its user database creation. In the following chapter, a comprehensive explanation of the webpage’s transfer from local to public server is analyzed. A step-by-step explanation of creating an account in the public server Hostinger and the file transfer program Filezilla is shown next. Additionally, at the sixth (6) chapter of the project the procedure of creating the webpage along with several options and settings, that a webpage provides the user with, is presented and at the end a presentation of a few selected pages of the webpage is shown.
