The purpose of this paper is to study and explore the data of ΦΑΓΕ. A company which belongs to the wider food industry. Additionally, our choice regarding the food industry is not accidental. Greece, as an impeccably, rural country economy can support the food industry providing high quality goods and also removes the need for unnecessary imports. This direct relationship between economy and food industry, enables us to be able to draw more detailed conclusions both for the industry and for the broader scope of the Greek economy. As a method of approach for the following study, the analysis of data is based on Hellastat database. More specifically, there is a detailed analysis of financial papers, sector study and analysis ratios. The main conclusion to draw from this work moves on two levels. Initially, all companies, even the big industries like ΦΑΓΕ,is influenced heavily by the global financial crisis. This is evident in the financial statements of companies mainly after 2010. This is easily understood as share capital increases and money loan, increases sharply after the crisis period. In addition, the reader is able to conclude that the food sector appeared highly resistant to shocks of the crisis compared to other sectors. Although what I have said, the industry has had a smaller loss than all but the refining industry. Finally, if I could describe some words as keywords in the study, it would be big industry, the dairy sector, the pre-crisis and post-crisis era and competitiveness.
